The IBL Workshop held on the Cal Poly campus in San Luis Obispo, California offers a small town campus experience for the participants. The surrounding area is beautiful and restful, creating a great location for the workshop attendees.
- Nearby minor Airports are San Luis Obispo (Code: SBP), and Santa Maria (Code: SMX) with major airports, Los Angeles (Code: LAX) 3+ hours south, or San Jose (Code: SJC), located 3+ hours north. While travel can be more challenging in this area, the quaint and friendly town of SLO is surrounded by natural beauty and makes the extra effort worthwhile.
- Lodging during the workshop days will be within the Cal Poly Villages, located in Poly Canyon, a short walk from the main campus area. Check in's are permitted beginning Monday afternoon, and check-out by late morning on Saturday. The residence halls are multi-level with elevators, with grouped rooms assigned by gender with access to a shared bathroom. Bedding and towels will be not be provided, and you must bring them for your use. More details will be provided to you after registration.
- The workshop rooms are located adjacent to the housing area. Meals will be provided on all workshop days in the main campus area, which is a quick walk from the Cal Poly Village Residence Halls.

To ensure workshop participation commitments, we are asking that applicants submit a registration fee of $150 (+$3.99 processing fees) at the time of application. Cal Poly campus is located on the Central Coast of California offering beautiful geography and fabulous weather.
The workshop housing accommodations are nestled in Poly Canyon Village, a short walk from central campus.
The nearby town of San Luis Obispo is quaint and friendly. There you can find great food, wine, shopping and local history.
